Balsamic Glaze, is a traditional balsamic vinegar reduction.  Balsamic Glaze can be made by taking traditional italian balsamic vinegar, and simply heating it until desired consistency (should be syrup.)   It usually takes a couple of hours on low heat for it to syrupy enough to be considered a true balsamic reduction, or a balsamic glaze.  Of course, cooking time will depend on the density (density is a direct result of the age of the balsamic vinegar)  and the volume that is being reduced.
